Ali Hamdi is a PhD student in Computer Science at RMIT University, Australia, since 2018. Ali's research is on visual representation learning, object tracking, and uncertainty modelling. He received his masters in Computing from the University of Technology, Malaysia, in 2017. He worked as a data scientist and computer science researcher. During the last ten years, Ali has worked in teaching Programming, Data Science, and Web Development. He has participated in many software developments and research projects, including computer vision, natural language processing, spatiotemporal data analysis. Recently, Ali has worked in multiple research studies on drone-based object tracking, visual representation via Graph Convolutional Neural Networks, drone delivery, and spatiotemporal data mining. Ali's current research is focused on video object segmentation and tracking and few-shot learning.
